How I work

Most interactions are by video or phone since that is immediate and convenient for everyone. But it’s good to meet up face-to-face if needed, and I’m always happy to travel to meet clients. 

 

And whilst we’re on the subject, just a quick word about ethics and confidentiality


I work by the EMCC Global Code of Ethics. That has a number of dimensions but of note here is confidentiality: in short, everything discussed between coach and client is confidential unless it concerns an illegal activity, danger to self or others. Otherwise, our discussions remain completely confidential.

I’m here to help you deal with your challenges so when we start, we agree on some broad objectives

Most people find a conversation every one or two weeks to be the most useful tempo but that can vary over the course of an assignment depending on what is going on and what comes up in a client’s life so I’m flexible with how and when we chat. The more important thing is to help you to move forward. With this in mind, I charge for a coaching package rather than an hourly rate.
